It's a hair miracle! I've discovered an amazing product with actual results. As noted by the title, I will be discussing, sharing and gushing over Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream. The latest and greatest product to be introduced into my hair routine. I guess I must explain my hair issues. Beginning with the lacking shine and dryness, my hair is no friend of mine. Constantly changing products in attempts to find the perfect hair potion is how I spend my weekends. Just kidding. That's just how I feel, using five products to achieve gorgeous hair just isn't cutting it. So when given the chance to try a new hair product, I'm quick to pounce.

Smooth Moves, what can I say? You really are smooth, frizz runs in fear. Just a small dab is all you need and when paired with a blow dryer, it's simply unstoppable! However, beware. Go overboard and use more than needed will result in white residue! Definitely not pretty but avoidable. All in all great frizz defender & smoothness provider while also adding a touch of shine. So be sure to pick yours up at either Walmart or Ulta for only $6! Highly recommend!

Color payoff, affordable and availability. The perfect trifecta achieved by NYC cosmetics with their new Individual Eyes custom Compact. The ideal palette for beginners or makeup collectors as it features your complete eye look in an easy go to palette. But are there any flaws or woes with this product? Well, it wouldn't be an honest review without a few. Beginning with the primer, this cute idea turns up sticky. Nevertheless, it works perfectly well with the shadows. Speaking of which are surprisingly pigmented! Who needs MAC when you can purchase this easy palette for only $4.99! Oh and did I mention, its available everywhere NYC products are sold. But let's get back to the topic at hand, although these shadows are pigmented there's too much fallout! Resulting in shadow overload and far from pretty as these end up in the primer and illuminator. A small yet significant detail. If that's not a problem then you'll love the included ”How To” instructions. Smoky eyes are bound to be in your future.

Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit

Lashes? Yes, please! It's no secret, I have a lash addiction so discovering new and different brands as well as products is my new favorite thing.
The Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit is one of them,and although I was completely excited to try it, I had my doubts. Kiss, isn't particularly a brand I would turn to for lashes but I'm happy to say; I will now turn to you. This kit has completely and utterly changed my opinion, for the quality of not only the product but the complete packaging is simply superb! This easy at home starter kit comes complete with eyelashes, glue and of course applicator so let's review!

As far as the lashes go, I think they're great. Neither flimsy nor stiff, definitely made with quality and human hair. Something I'm not entirely certain about, but I'll definitely do some research. Next is the Latex Free lash glue. Normally the glue provided with any lashes are well, not the best. It's nothing against the companies but often times it seems as though they focus solely on the quality of the eyelashes. Kiss takes a different approach. Their glue is mind blowing! I never expected the payoff and hold from a drugstore glue like this one. However it claims to dry clear, a claim that lacked results but no deal breaker. Lastly, the eyelash applicator. All I have to say is, for a beginner it's great. For someone more experienced, you definitely don't need this. Or at least, I didn't.
Overall, this kit is great for beginners or full blown experts, and you'll definitely want more.

The holidays are upon us! A simple yet well known fact, as noted by commercials, wardrobe & holiday theme candles. And although that's great, I'm no fan of candles, let alone holiday theme candles. However, Influenster's latest and greatest voxbox has featured the perfect one, Bath & Body Works' Pumpkin Cupcake! Or as I would call it, the mind changer. A simple yet comforting scent available in a cute mini. Perfect for work or home, this candle, supplies the ideal aroma perfect for cozy comfort. Priced at $3.50, Bath and Body Works Mini Candles sure do provide holiday spirit but as always, I find a flaw. Although its called Pumpkin Cupcake,it smells less like a pastry and more like cinnamon. DETOX, It's Good!

In a world filled with lies and false promises, Natural beauty has never been more obtainable, introducing DETOX Skin Intervention. A completely natural skincare line aimed to ensure only the finest products with noticeable results. Produced mainly with Dead Sea Salt, this completely amazing discovery has tremendous credibility. As claims are everywhere but DETOX really does deliver. Take their Dead Sea Salt Mud mask for example which drastically improved my skin in only one use. Dealing with everything from my combination skin to breakouts, it's my absolute necessity. I simply don't want to live without it. So let's review!

Forget the days of dull skin, the Dead Sea Salt Mud Mask not only is Extremely smooth, but provides excellent results, and great on acne. Simply use as a spot treatment or all over and see the dramatic results. As far as moisture goes, the clear winner- Detox Moisturizing Lotion. I've only used this once, but I did love the feel. However not more than the Dead Sea Salt Mud Mask. ;) But if you're in need of a trip? Why not take a trip to hydration land with the Hydration Lotion. You'll discover the ultimate must, as it's ideal for those of us with dry, rough skin. You'll feel a complete skin renewal. But why not purify as well with the Purifying Toner . Although meant for acne prone skin as well as other skin issues, I find it to be too strong. However, I love this on my eczema! Reduced redness and irritation within minutes. Highly recommend! If eczema isn't the issue, then let's talk Eye Revive ideal for fine lines and puffiness, and noticeably true. Lastly my all time favorite and current obsession, the Lip Therapy. I've talked about this before, it's all in all my go to lip balm. Dry, cracked lips stay away, you've meet your match!

Overall, I love their line and I don't even mind the smell. If you love the ocean, you'll love the fresh and lively scent these products carry.

Ever crave doll lashes? I know, I do! Never fear, you're friendly Beauty Blogger is here. Discover long, voluminous lashes that you'll treasure and adore with Covergirl's Lash Blast 24hr Mascara. Ideal for any gal looking to score length and curl, with lasting power. But that's not all, this Mascara provides the perfect wand needed for separation and zero clumps. What more could you ask for? Runny mascara is no longer an issue, use alone or pair with another fave. However, this isn't without it's flaws. Beginning with the smell, definitely a powerful one. This usually makes me tear up, so if you hate overpowering products this sure is one to avoid. Not to mention the lifespan being quite short. Dries out quickly, something I definitely don't love. Lastly, the paraben issue. I'm currently trying to be absolutely paraben free and learning that this isn't, is definitely a blow. But all in all great product.

This liquid gold in a bottle features light to medium coverage, yet buildability without the cakey-ness, so light you'll feel truly Naked! Combination skin? No problem! But be sure to wear a primer, I wouldn't want you to oil up and blame your foundation. Still not convinced lets go over some Pros & Cons.

Struggling to Cope

As most of you may know, I've gone Paraben free. And for the most part, it's been great but also difficult. I never thought I would learn so much about my favorite brands. Now that I do; I stay away from serial offenders, Revlon for example. But staying away from brands isn't my only issue, as a beauty blogger I have to stay on trend. This leads to yet another issue, finding paraben free companies with a wide variety. For example, a quality plum lipstick! The sheer staple for fall! Simply Superb, Simply Hydroxatone

Hydroxatone, I think I love you. Your customer service is beyond compare, and your representatives are truly helpful. I would know, I recently won the Hydroxatone Anti Aging BB Cream. Now normally I'm an easy customer, but this time I'll admit I was truly annoying. I did not respond to emails in a timely matter but thankfully I had an amazing and quite patient representative. She not only shipped out my prize at an amazing rate but also sent a note. A thought which is always great to include.

Unfortunately the product was not my shade but no fault of hers, she did ask me to reconsider. Now, had I responded in a timely matter I would have received the perfect match. Nevertheless, this amazing rep came through offering to send me the correct shade. Loves And Loss

Favorites? I have a few. As you can see in the picture below, I not only have a few but some of these are no longer in my possession. As noted in an earlier post, I've gone paraben free. Something I couldn't be happier about but my collection is significantly smaller now. Nevertheless, let's continue.

Beginning with DETOX Lip Therapy, there has yet to be anything that can compare. Valued at $3.75, I would definitely recommend this to anyone in need of an all natural lip smoother.For this has tamed my dry lips and given them some much needed TLC. As for how often to apply, I find this at constant grabs. Just something I dare not put down or leave the house without.

Next comes my all time favorite mascara! My holy grail! Well as far as waterproof mascaras go, runner up being the Avon Waterproof mascara. Now, I must note the two are in two completely separate classes. The Avon being light yet providing excellent hold, however Covergirl's 24Hr LashBlast maintains the much needed trifecta; Volume, Length and Separation. What more could a girl ask for?

MAC, MAC, MAC, MAC, MAC, MA MAC, EVERYBODY! As you can see I'm extremely excited. For one, this is my first MAC product, and truthfully one of the products I kept. I am unaware of the ingredients, uncertain if its paraben free but great to look at. Don't you agree? And the name simply provides a smile to my face, Sunny By Nature (insert smiley).

What comes next? Urban Decay! Their much buzzed about Naked Skin Foundation is my fourth product. Extremely lightweight, great coverage and best of all Paraben Free! Unfortunately, not my shade but that doesn't stop me from wearing it! I simply apply powder foundation on top and I'm all set.

Onto lipgloss, Senna Cosmetics Triple Pink Gloss, is more of a love hate product and rightfully so. Here's why, I expected this to be true color but on my lips it unfortunately was not. This is quite sheer with a bit of a candy smell. Oh and almost forgot, sticky! But for great for summer!

For about a week, I thought the Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes was great, I soon came down from that cloud. Its awful! All I have to say is; Clumps, flakes, and smudges! No Bueno!

Finally, we're now about to discuss my all time favorite company and blush! Everyday Minerals Rhapsody in Peach, truly was my staple for summer! I simply couldn't go a day without! This coral blush provides the sunkissed natural look we all long for. Highly recommend! :)

Untitled Truth

Normally, I wouldn't post something like this but it must be said. On June 19th, I won a Twitter Contest in which I had to answer a question relating to a brand of products. Never expecting to win, I did. Now I followed all their instructions thinking ” Wow, can't believe I won! I wonder which set I'll get” Yes, you read correctly, I would be receiving a set. But I never received an email response, I thought nothing of it as I've dealt with a few companies who simply send your package without notice. So after awhile, I decided to contact them via twitter, never received a reply. Now, I know they were presently tweeting as I would often see their posts on my timeline. Poor customer service, I think yes!

Here's another kicker, I thought you know what I'll just email them. To my astonishment I received a response. Great, right? Wrong. The person who I was originally told to email, the only person who's email I had, informed me they no longer worked with said company. What! She was kind enough to give me an email of someone who she thought could help. Note, I sent a new email to this new person on August 14th. To this day, I have yet to receive a response. Now here's a question, What am I to do?

Final Thoughts: Since the birth of this blog, I've stuck by my beliefs-- I believe everything can be said about a company through their packing but even more through their customer service.

Well, let me tell you it's New York Color's Liquid Lip Shine in Nude York City. Cute name right? I just love it, maybe even more than the product. But that's a post for another day. :)

Onto the topic at hand, how can I express my love for the? Oh, I know. Let's admire your charm. Beginning with your glossy shine, it's unlike no other, you make my heart skip a beat. Such precise application cannot be compared. Smooth 3D effects and vitamin E. Can I ask for more? Providing such shine should be a crime, for it's moisture galore, ranging in 10 shades. Wish Upon a Cosmetic

If you have oily lids like I do, I highly recommend you check this out. -- Maybelline BB Cream: I've yet to try this but judging from all the YouTube videos this seems like a product that both affordable and ideal for those who seek a but more coverage with the overbearing smell. -- Milani HD Advanced Concealer: This product seems to be compared to YSL's concealer, however I've yet to try either or. But I do love the sleek gold packaging :) -- L'oreal Magic Perfecting Base: I'm always looking for the best primer, and so far have yet to find the correct one for me but according to several makeup artists this would be utter perfection. Hoping to pick this up soon:) -- Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner: Milani, I love you! You're baked blush in Terra Sole provides the sun kissed look, I love and crave. Although, I've never been able to obtain the Eye Tech Extreme, I know I'll love it. It's only waterproof and ideal for these warm summer days. -- Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer: I've only recently heard of this product but many of you claim, it will conceal and bring light to a normally dark area. -- Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer in Radiant (hear it's great for undereye circles!) To quote the 90s group, Sugar Ray,” I just want to shine!” This is similar to the Rimmel concealer however, it's in a salmon color. Which I've learned from makeup artist, Johny Saade. Salmon concealer conceals undereye circles. Definitely can't wait to try, currently sold out in stores near me. Now that you know what I'm dying to try, What's on your wishlist? Thanks for reading! Fairly quick Update!

Hey loves, I'm sorry for being M.I.A. But as some of you already know, my laptop is currently out. Every post from now on til who knows when will be posted via phone. Hey loves, to roundup the day here's another product review. Now, I know the title gives it away but you may not know the following. For instance, did you know Truvia is the first natural sweetner? Made from Stevia leaves, Truvia can be added to food our drink. Like I've done for the past weeks, using it in kool-aid, teas,and smoothies. It's just simply delicious :) Nothing can.compare, not even Splenda! Don't believe me? Here's a treat :)

The following recipe is one of my very own, I hope you try and enjoy.

Rasp-Tastic Berry Smoothie
Ingredients: 2% Reduced Fat Milk, organic yogurt, Raspberries, Truvia, ice and banana.
Directions: begin by dropping a few ice cubes in the mixer followed by the banana, raspberries and yogurt. Quickly mix, add milk and pour about half of one Truvia packet. Blend together, and enjoy. I occasionally also add blueberries too.

Venus Olay Razor

Hey loves, its time for another review featuring Gillette's latest. Drum roll please, Gillette Venus Olay Razor! Unaware of this product? No worries, I've got the deets ;) Venus' 5 blade razor has been known for getting the closest shave but now with Olay moisture bars you receive much more. For they contain skin-enhancing elements like petrolatum and glycerin guaranteeing to lock in moisture and achieve goddess glow. Simply wet and shave. No separate shave cream required, but that's not all. The best is yet to come...the price! Gillette Venus& Olay Razor runs for about $8.99-$10.99 depending where its purchased.

But enough of that let's review, Gillette has always been know for satisfaction guaranteed. However, I was not impressed. It maybe due to the fact I was expecting something amazing or because I compared this to the Gillette Venus Embrace from the very start. Either way, once again I was disappointed. This did not give me a close shave nor a smooth and moisturized feel. I had to use a small layer of shaving cream to receive the desired feel. However, a few things I did love are; the pivoting head, design and durability. But the biggest and best of it all is the packaging!!! Love, love, love it! It's simply amazing, everything from the design to the accessibility is great! Both eye catching and sleek or in other words, clear standout! There isn't anything that can compare, package wise :)

Kiss Nail Dress

Good Evening loves, I'm finally back to share my thoughts on...well as you can see from the title, Kiss Nail Dress.

Before we begin, let me first express my initial excitement. I simply couldn't wait, I have never been more anxious, or giddy to try a product like this before. And that is no exaggeration. I even began to think of names for my future manicure. Silly, I know, but I couldn't help it. I was certain this product would be great, boy was I ever wrong. These nail polish strips are no walk in the park! It truly must take some sort of skill, for a miscalculation can cost you more than an uneven application. Its strong enough to remove your polish!!! No joke! I've never struggled with any nail product as much as I did this.
But nevertheless, Kiss does score some points for their idea, designs and affordability. Its a bit above the rest, for I have yet to see Sally Hansen invent nail polish strips with rhinestones like mine (Nail strips in cocktail). However, here's a suggestion; Stick to solid patterns, avoid rhinestones! Sorry, but rhinestones are not your friend. Its quite difficult to get an even and easy application when rhinestones are hard to file. This leads to nail strip to elevate and in turn cause torn ends. Not cute! I'm sure there are those who found the application, design, and idea to be marvelous and or spectacular. For those of you who did or simply want to know more the following product information is for you :)

Kiss Nail Dress Product information: Available in 18 different styles, from solid to patterns. If you're looking for something bold, try Peplum, odd name but this little number is perfect. For the deep black embodies a classic while the multicolored 3 dimensional Gems gives it just the pop of color you need.Application is simple, simply Peel, apply and shape can be used on either finger nails or toes, or why not both! Trust me you'll have plenty for both, for each packet contains 28, that's correct 28 nail strips! If that's not enough for you, they promise these nail strips last up to 10 days! Which is great for its right on point with that claim. Try it today for the low price of $6.99, available at your local Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens.

Overall: Great concept bad execution.

12) MegaRed Krill Oil Samples- Came with 3 softgels and information abut the product as well as with a dollar off coupon.

5) Sebamed Hand &Nail Balm Moisturizing Lotion- Unfortunately this was not a free sample, It's prize I won for simply answering a question on their Facebook page.So please LIKE them on Facebook and keep an eye on their page for Contests.

6) Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer- Here's a freebie I received thanks to Influenster and Proactiv, I thought it would be a simple sample size but it's actually the FULL Size product! :)

7) Barista Prima Coffeehouse Keurig Sample Pack- Barista was having a free sample of their new Keurig Coffee Cups back in January. I signed up and received one, as you can tell from the photo above I have already used one. It actually wasn't that bad. Be sure to like them on Facebook for more special offers and freebies.

8) Obestrim Weightloss Pills- This is a freebie I actually don't remember requesting but I'm not offended. I could use this  :)

9) Invisible Glass Wipes- I've heard great things about this product so I decided to request a sample, if you're going to request one be prepared to wait awhile before you actually receive it. I believe I requested this back in December, and am barely receiving it!! Wow, awful! But it didcome with coupons and rebate forms.

10) Rx Gentle Cleanser - Here's another freebie that came from facebook, more specifically YouBeauty. It's just a week's worth but I will definitely use this. For it claims to improve uneven skin tone as well as diminished dark spots. Awesome, right?

11) Universal Real Gains Weight Gainer in Strawberry Ice Cream- I ordered thisfor my brither,and he absolutely loves this. I just love the smell, another thing about this is it is definitely a large sample! sure to last awhile :)

12) Teatulia Tea Sample in Tulsia Infusion Tea - Love, love, love this! Teatulia is definitely a new brand for me but I will definitely purchase this. Just have to do a google search first. :)

13) Poise Pad Sample Pack- For some reason I expected this to be a small,  simple sample but it actually came with 2 large pads. As well as coupons!

14) 2 Packets of KYK Energy- These are just simple on the go packets,have yet to try them. But I knowone thing. There's hardly anything in them!!! :/

So when these came in the mail, I was a bit more than surprised, more like is this a joke. Either way this is always a nice little freebie to receive.

7) 2 NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30 - I clearly remember ordering this on the 1st and seeing it not go through. So I did what we all do, resumbit the information. Well I guess their form was a bit off because I receive 2 Free samples of NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Misturizer. Although these are mere sample sizes, I don't mind. Good Evening Dolls, I hope you all had a lovely and magical Valentine's day. If you didn't have a valentine, no worries there's always next year. I personally did not have an actual Valentine but I am a SheSpeaks blogger. I know, random right? But I simply wish to share, my good news. I am blissfully happy to say, I am a Shespeaks blogger. Good Afternoon or Good Evening depending on which part of the world you're in. Today's post is not your usual cup of tea. I have decided to post some of my NON favorite Makeup Products. Lets begin :)

(Starting from left to right)

1) Colorescience Sunforgettable - This product claimed to be almost clear but when it came to the application it was simply horrible. Very cakey, and the powder puff provided was simply ridiculous. Would definitely not recommend this to anyone.

2) Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails Extreme Wear in 05 Sugar Bare - At first I absolutely loved this, for one I found this at the perfect price $1. Secondly, I couldn't see anything past the name. I mean c'mon ladies and gents don't you just love the name. Think about it Sugar Bare is simply adorable but the payoff is definitely not. You need at least 3 Coats to achieve the desired color! How awful is that? Well I'll tell you, there's nothing that bothers me more than a nail polish you can't do anything with! Forget about a quick Mani or pedi, this takes about an hour to dry.

3) Avon Glazewear Dazzle in Pink Radiance - I had hopes for this lipgloss but was completely unaware that it was both sticky and shimmery. For the thing I hate the most is shimmery lipgloss and even more so when you can feel it on your lips. This had both! At first I thought I could bare through and grow to love it but I soon realized the only thing I loved was the smell. It is simply intoxicating. :)


4) Monave Serecite Primer - OK confession time! This was actually my first mineral powder primer. So there for I must admit I was truly heart broken when it became a fail. It just did not work for me, and added to my oily skin.

5) Almay One Coat Dial Up Mascara - During it's hype on YouTube, I decided to buy this as soon as I could. At the time, it was no where to be found, but one day while at my favorite store (99 Cents) I happen to catch a break. And well you know what happened. I purchased, tried and Hated it all in the same month. For it was an utter waste of time! This mascara did not lengthen nor give me voluminous lashes! Instead it made me eyes water and itch. Allergic Reaction!!! OH NOOOO!!!! Need I say more?

6) L.A Colors Auto Eyeliner in Black Brown - Unlike the others, I did not have high hopes for this product. I simply just said "what the hay, lets give it a try." I believe it didn't work for me due to my oily skin but if you don't have that issue, go ahead, give it a whirl. Let me know how it worked for you.

There are a few items I no longer have and wish I did. Simply for posting purposes of course, but I hope you enjoined reading my rant. And no worries there are more posts to come.
